PROCLAMATION NO. 32/1996 PROCLAMATION TO FIX THE RECESS AND TIME-IN-SESSION OF THE HOUSE OF PEOPLES' REPRESENTATIVES

PROCLAMATION NO. 32/1996 A PROCLAMATION TO FIX THE RECESS AND TIME-IN-SESSION OF THE HOUSE OF PEOPLES' REPRESENTATIVES  
WHEREAS, the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in providing, under Article 58(2), for the time-in-session of the House of Peoples' Representatives also stipulates that the House, at a time to be fixed by it, shall have a one-month interim recess;
NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 55(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the "Recess and Time-in-Session of the House of Peoples' Representatives Proclamation No. 32/1996. 2. Recess The annual recess of the House of Peoples' Representatives shall be from the 1^st of Megabit (10^th of March) to the 1^st of Miazia (9^th of April) and from the 1^st of Hamle (8^th of July) to the eve of Monday of the final week of the month of Meskerem (September)".
3. Time-in-Session
The annual time-in-session of the House of Peoples' Representatives shall be from Monday of the final week of the month of Meskerem (September) to the 30^th of Yekatit (9^th of March) and from the 2^nd of Miazia (10^th of April) to the 30^th of Sene (7^th of July).
 
4. Effective Date
